The most awaited feature of modules.fm radio is now working - requesting system!
How does it work? Simply :)
Just enter "Modules" section and find a file you want to be played at the radio, then click "+" icon in the "Options" column (make sure you have enabled it at your profile settings) - Voila! The tune will be placed onto playlist and played for your, and others, pleasure :)
But... there are limitations. First of all, not every single module can be played. This is caused by radio rules, which state that a certain tune cannot be played more than once per 12h and a certain author more than once per 3h. These modules will get the "locked" status icon and be available for request after minimum required time passes. Also, which is rather obvious, you cannot request module that is not or was not in the playlist - that's because it hasn't been converted to mp3 yet! :) And finally - each user is allowed request up to 3 tunes per day. If you use all your request slots and want to request another tune, you'll have to wait for the next day. Please also keep in mind that requesting system is available for logged users only.

first day - amazing! i've got 3 requests and i can make a playlist and then... second bloody day and "zero is still available" ?

but 3 request per day ... hmm, what do think about something like that:
old user - 9 req.
avg user - 6 req.
new user - 3 req.
btw. modules.fm still rox. =) |

Ace jak enkodujesz pliki do mp3? jesli okreslisz wymagania (bitrate, sposob renderowania) i ogarniesz jakies temp loginy do serwera to moglbym pomoc i mysle ze paru chetnych znalazloby sie. |

Ale nie ma takiej potrzeby, Carm ;) Na tyle ile jest kawałków do enkodowania spokojnie sam daję radę. Ale jak będę potrzebował pomocy, to bądź pewien, że nie zapomnę o tym poście :D |
