Somehow I can't bring myself to hate this. The lead guitar isn't in tune with the rest, the samples are crap, you can't hear the kick drum, the composition is copypasted too much, too simple and/or cliche'd to death, but...
and this is a big 'but'...
For some reason, the lo-fi sound reminds me of oldschool games for the SNES, specifically battle-music for old jRPGs. While too repetitive and bland, the theme fits well and brings up fun imagery in my head.
So while i have genuine reasons to blast this, I will give it a three. Could've been better, but, oh well ;] . |
