The one thing what bothers me in dying dragon is rather happy and near-fairytale ending. I'd imagine death of such majestatic creature as dragon should be solemn and dramatic, just as major part of this masterpiece was. Sure, death for the one dying is surely a soothing moment, after all this misery, but for us, living ones it's rather sad moment and full of reverie.
Nevertheless, i gave 6/6 due to humongous load of nostalgia when i stumbled upon this piece on CDA 'scena' package i believe. Then my HDD died and CD was long lost in chaos of moving. Ever since i've remembered how emotional this song was, so my rating may be biased especially when i found it on compilation of ASM96's gems. |
